Families with children are welcome at all our liturgies, especially at both our Sunday morning masses.
Sunday mornings we have professional child care available in our well-appointed infant and toddler nursery and parents and children may come and go throughout the service.
We also have crayons and lectionary-based coloring sheets available in the back of the church for children to use during the service.
We want to hear from you. We have a number of families with very young children and are discerning how we may best serve their needs. We welcome your thoughts.
Sunday School
We are so pleased to say that this fall we reopened our Church School. Sunday School meets each week during the academic year between the 9 o’clock and 11 o’clock Masses. Parents should bring children to the Library (unless we are meeting in the Nursery, in which case there will be signs or a person to direct you) right after the 9 o’clock Mass, just after 10 o'clock.
Sunday School in the Library
Final Sunday School project mapping a journey through the Old Testament
We use a straight-forward, Biblically and liturgically based curriculum, developed in-house, that focusses upon story telling and the children’s ability to respond to what they hear by asking questions and by creating art. One of the clergy will always be present. This is an exciting development in our life as a community and you can learn more about what has been brewing by reading the Rector’s August 2009 letter to families here.
Throughout the year we will have special activities for children and families, such as our Christmas Party which this year took place on Saturday, December 20. Look out for more activities!
Baptism Parents seeking to baptize their children should contact the Rector. You will find more information about Baptism here
Confirmation Information about Confirmation can be found here.
