| Children and Families
Sunday mornings we have professional child care available in our well-appointed infant and toddler nursery and parents and children may come and go throughout the service. We also have crayons and lectionary-based coloring sheets available in the back of the church for children to use during the service. We want to hear from you. We have a number of families with very young children and are discerning how we may best serve their needs. We welcome your thoughts.
Sunday School
We use a straight-forward, Biblically and liturgically based curriculum, developed in-house, that focusses upon story telling and the children’s ability to respond to what they hear by asking questions and by creating art. One of the clergy or a seminarian will always be present. This is an exciting development in our life as a community and you can learn more about what has been brewing by reading the Rector’s September 2010 letter to families here. Throughout the year we will have special activities for children and families. On Saturday, November 5th we will have a special Family Eucharist with Storyteller Bill Gordh, and please save the dates for our Annual Family Christmas Party on the afternoon of Sunday, December 18th, a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on February 21st, and also for a Family Parish Picnic on Rogation Sunday, May 13th that will mark the end of the Church School Year!
